Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many officials employed by his Department, of each grade, have remained at that grade since 2010 but received a pay rise; and how much of a rise each such person at each such grade has received.
The information available within proportional cost limits is presented in the following three tables.

1. The 2010-11 pay award for staff below SCS was based on a combination of the individual’s performance assessment and their position in pay range, varying from 3% to 4.5%. The SCS did not receive a pay award
2. In 2011-12 and 2012/13, there was no pay award due to the public sector pay freeze, with the exception of staff paid less than £21,000 who received a £250 cash uplift
3. In 2013-14 staff received a cash base pay award, equivalent to 1% of the median pay for the grade
