To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will estimate the annual cost to his Department of (a) stationery and (b) postage incurred when sending a ministerial reply to hon. Members; and if he will make a statement.

Information relating to costs of stationery and postage incurred when sending a ministerial reply to hon. Members is not recorded and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
