The EU (Withdrawal) Act will provide a functioning statute book on the day we leave the EU, so the laws and rules we have now will, so far as possible, continue to apply.

This includes Article 157 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, which captures the principle that there should be equal pay for equal work between male and female workers.

It is right that this principle should continue to be fully available in our domestic law after exit.
