Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what recent discussions her Department has had with manufacturers of sanitary and cosmetic products on (a) the provision of clear advice on disposal to avoid blockages in drainage systems and (b) research into improving the biodegradeability of sanitary products in the sewerage system.

We are unaware of any such discussions.
