Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what representations has he received from Health Education England on the effect of the removal of NHS bursaries on staff recruitment.
This question was answered on 6th July 2017
A search of the Department’s Ministerial correspondence database has not identified any items of correspondence received from Health Education England about the effect of the removal of National Health Service bursaries on staff recruitment.
My Rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State has regular meetings on workforce policy (including nurse supply) that Health Education England attend.
