Question to the Wales Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what discussions his Department has had with the Welsh Government on State Aid rules and the Circuit of Wales.
The Wales Office has not had any discussions with the Welsh Government on State Aid rules and the Circuit of Wales. As a devolved matter it is for the Welsh Government to decide how to allocate funding for economic development/leisure projects within their own capital budgets and to ensure that any support is compliant with State Aid rules.
