To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if he will make an assessment of the potential merits of matching basic benefit levels to the Minimum Income Standards calculated annually by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

The potential merits of matching basic benefit levels to the JRF’s Minimum Income Standard have not been assessed.
