The UK’s uncodified constitution has evolved over time and is made up of conventions, statutes, judicial decisions, principles and practices.

The Government’s priority is a politics that works for all people in all places, not some people in some places. We’ve begun the biggest redistribution of power this country has seen. The Government welcomes feedback and continued discussion on the next steps on constitutional reform and will continue to consider a range of views and evidence.
