The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has advised that three incidents of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome involving a non-patient egg donor were reported to the HFEA by licensed clinics in 2009, 2011 and 2014. The three incidents were severe and graded ‘B’.
