Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, which providers are involved in the pilot programmes to extend the seasonal influenza vaccination to school-age children; how each provider is remunerated; in which area each operates; and if he will make a statement.
The extension of the seasonal flu vaccine programme to school-age children is in its second year of pilots. The pilots have been set up to gather learning to inform the national rollout in 2015-16 to children of primary school age, aged 4-6. The National Health Service England Area Teams with pilot sites and their method for delivering the programme being tested is included in the following table:

The commissioning of the school-age flu programme is the responsibility of NHS England’s Area Teams and information on providers and contractual information is not held centrally but determined locally.
