Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 14 July 2014, Official Report, column 531W, on housing: construction, what estimate he has made of the number of dwellings with planning permission that were classed as having started on site on each of the dates provided.

The figures are below.

These estimates only relate to large sites (10+ dwellings) in England, based on Glenigan data. Precise figures will fluctuate from month to month, but there is a clear upward trend.
