Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, if he will bring forward proposals for an English national anthem.
This question was answered on 8th September 2014
There are no plans to recommend to Her Majesty The Queen that any change should be made to the UK National Anthem, nor are there any plans to introduce an official English Anthem.
