Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what NHS funding has been provided since 2010 for sending children under the age of 18 to weight loss camps.

Neither the Department, NHS England or Public Health England hold the financial details for National Health Service expenditure on weight loss camps. Weight management programmes form part of local authorities’ public health responsibilities and are commissioned and delivered based on local need.
