Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many pedestrians who are (a) male, (b) female, (c) children and (d) aged over 65 suffered (i) fatal and (ii) serious injuries in each of the last 10 years for which figures are available.

The numbers of reported pedestrian casualties (killed, seriously injured and slightly injured) in Great Britain who were male, female, children (aged 0 to 15) and aged over 65 in the years 2004 to 2013 are given in the table below.
