Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the announcement entitled, National operation to retest manipulated forensic samples continues, published by the National Police Chiefs' Council in December 2018, for which company does the independent expert employed to analyse the retest results work.

The Home Office is not responsible for the independent expert, who is employed by the National Police Chief’s Council to conduct the retesting work.
