Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how many officials in his Department are assigned to work on fire safety and issues related to the Grenfell Tower fire.

MHCLG has 198.31 full time equivalent (FTE) officials working directly on fire safety and issues related to the Grenfell Tower fire. We also recognise that there are associated FTE officials working on these issues that come as normal in running any department, however we have not included these in our calculations.
