Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care,whether it is his policy that the responsibility for the delivery of compensation to victims of the infected blood scandal lies with his Department due to that scandal having occurred prior to the establishment of devolved departments of health.
Policy on financial support for people infected by HIV and/or hepatitis C after treatment with blood, tissue or blood products from the National Health Service is a devolved matter.
