To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions he or Ministers in his Department have had with Ministers in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills on the proposed reform of apprenticeships and its potential effects on his Department's projects and the work of its supply chain; and whether officials in his Department sit on programme boards managing that reform.

The Secretary of State for Transport and Ministers in his Department have not had discussions with Ministers in the Department for Business Innovation and Skills on the proposed reform of apprenticeships and its potential effects on the Department’s projects and the work of its supply chain.

I can also confirm that no officials within his Department sit on programme boards managing the apprenticeship reform.
