Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent representations his Department has made to the government of Israel on implementation of the findings of the Turkel Commission.

We continue regularly to ask Israel to build on its progress towards implementation of the second report of the Turkel Commission and fully adopt its recommendations. Most recently, an official from our Embassy in Tel Aviv raised this issue with the Israeli Military Advocate General on 9 September.
