Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps she is taking to reduce the incidence of paroxysms in puppies.

No action is being taken on this specific condition. However, under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, owners or keepers must provide for the needs of their pet including its health. If anyone is concerned about an incidence of paroxysm in their puppy, they should consult their veterinarian.
