Stray Dogs

Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many stray dogs were put down in each of the last three years.
This question was answered on 14th October 2014
Defra does not keep records of the number of stray dogs euthanised as this is carried out by a combination of local authorities and some dog charities.
