Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the forecast cost is of tax relief arising from Decommissioning Relief Deeds provided to companies operating in the UK and UK Continental Shelf in each year from 2014-15 to 2017-18.

As set out in the Government’s Written Ministerial Statement on Decommissioning Relief Deeds of 21^st July 2014, the Government has not made any changes to the tax regime that would generate a liability to be paid under any decommissioning relief agreements.
