The creation of the Open Business Forum was announced on 23 February 2012 by my Rt. Hon. Friend the Prime Minister, who asked his adviser on corporate responsibility, Philip N. Green, to act as Chair. Companies and organisations represented on the Open Business Forum included Business in the Community, Trading for Good, Aviva, Procter and Gamble, Carillion, E.ON and Waitrose. As this Department did not provide the secretariat for this group, I am unable to confirm how many times the Open Business Forum met and whether it is planned that the minutes of its meetings will be made public.
