Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the answer of 9 July 2026, to Question 11487, on Erasmus+ programme, whether the £810 million non-discounted cost will be the default payment in second year of affiliation.

Any participation in Erasmus+ into the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) will need to be agreed in the future and be based on a fair and balanced contribution. The EU has not yet agreed the overall budget for the 2028-34 MFF, nor the budget for the next Erasmus+ programme.
