HM Treasury has not assumed or quantified savings to public service pension schemes from increasing State Pension age to 68 between 2037 and 2039. The actuarial valuations undertaken under Treasury Directions use the State Pension age timetable in current legislation, under which the increase to 68 takes place between 2044 and 2046.
