Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 23 June 2014 to Questions 201000, 201001 and 201002, what progress has been made on the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership one year feasibility study to inform the development of a future national clinical audit of HIV and sexually transmitted infections; and if he will make a statement.

The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership has now appointed a contractor for this work following a tendering exercise. It is anticipated that the contract will commence in December with a report being provided at the end of the one-year contract.
