Official Cars: Electric Vehicles

Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, how many of the cars in the Government Car Service for (a) Ministers and (b) senior officials are electric cars.

The Government Car Service (GCS) currently operates 44 electric vehicles. As vehicles are provided to departments as a shared resource, the number used by Ministers and senior officials is not recorded separately.
