Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 5 December 2018 to Question 197334 on public sector: procurement, how many of those spot checks carried out by the Procurement Review Service were targeted at a contracting authority that had previously not complied with a part of public procurement regulations.

All spot checks to date have been carried out as a result of instances of non compliance identified by a supplier or potential supplier to central government or the wider public sector and subsequently investigated by the Public Procurement Review Service.
