Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what steps he is taking to address the cost to hospitals of providing snacks, television, internet, books and magazines.

The provision of snacks, television, internet, books and magazines to inpatients is the responsibility of individual National Health Service providers and they will obtain them at the best cost available.
