Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people have spent a night in a hotel under the Compass contract for asylum seeker accommodation in each month of 2014 to date.

The Home Office does not centrally hold information on the number of asylum seekers who have been accommodated in hotels. This information is held by our accommodation providers. To locate, retrieve and analyse this information and prepare a response would only be possible at a disproportionate cost
