Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 2 November 2018 to Question 184856 on Housing Benefit, if he will publish the methodology that will be used to determine the allocation of discretionary housing payment funding to local authorities for people affected by the benefit cap in 2019-20.

We will publish the methodology used to determine the benefit cap funding stream for Discretionary Housing Payment Government allocations for 2019/20. We have consulted local authorities about the methodology and will be publishing individual allocations shortly.
