Paediatric continence has not been submitted for consideration as a new treatment function.

The guidelines for proposal and acceptance of new Treatment Functions can be found at:

http://www.isb.nhs.uk/documents/isb-0028/amd-17-2012/index_html

Of particular relevance is the document that relates to acceptance criteria for a new Treatment Function.

Proposals for new Treatment Functions can be logged by contacting the Health and Social Care Information Centre Enquiries on enquiries@hscic.gov.uk
