NHS England is now responsible for the funding of general practice premises refurbishment and replacement in accordance with the National Health Services (General Medical Services - Premises Cost) Directions 2013.

NHS England will soon be publishing Principles of Best Practice that set out how area teams should review and prioritise bids for development, enabling funding to be made available where necessary.
