Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what guidance he has issued to local authorities on checking employment standards by commissioned care providers.

It is for local authorities, as the commissioner of services, to be satisfied that the providers they commission meet any required employment practices.
