As of June 2021, 84% of all social care settings were rated good or outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.

We published a White Paper on 11 February 2021 which sets out proposals to develop, through the Health and Care Bill, an enhanced assurance framework for adult social care to support our drive to improve outcomes, readily identify and share best practice across the system and build on existing sector-led support and improvement programmes.
