The number of households on local authority waiting lists for each local authority in England is published in live table 600, which is available at the following link. https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/live-tables-on-rents-lettings-and-tenancies

The Department does not hold any information at a local authority level about the characteristics of households on local authority waiting lists or about how long they have been on them.
