Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what discussions his Department has had with the Department for Transport on updating taxi and PHV regulation.

My officials have had several discussions with officials from the Department for Transport on updating taxi and PHV regulation. Based on those discussions, I am confident that the Department for Transport’s proposals will take us in the right direction on this difficult issue.
