Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations he has made to his Indian and Portuguese counterparts on the detention and potential deportation of Paramjeet Singh; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 11th January 2016
The Government has ensured that the Portuguese authorities are aware of Mr Singh’s asylum status.
