Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what action the Government plans to take to address neglect, cruelty and abandonment of pets.

The Government abhors animal cruelty but considers that there are laws in place enabling enforcers to take action when such suffering occurs.
