To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many children in residential care are prescribed psychiatric drugs.

Information on how many children in residential care are prescribed psychiatric drugs is not collected centrally. Prescriptions data that are collected by the NHS Business Services Authority’s Prescription Services do not include the age or home location of a patient.
