Ministers and officials have regularly held discussions on the effectiveness of Government action across departments to prevent violence against women and girls (VAWG). A key mechanism for this is the Inter-Ministerial Group on Violence Against Women and Girls, which is chaired by the Home Secretary and has members from across government, including the Minister for Women and Equalities and the Secretary of State for Education.
