Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what discussions he has had with the Serious Fraud Office about its investigation into the activities in foreign exchange dealing of bankers.

The Director of the Serious Fraud Office opened a criminal investigation into allegations of fraudulent conduct in the foreign exchange market in July 2014. The Government does not comment on ongoing investigations, so as not to prejudice these inquiries in any way.
