There is no monitoring of exotic species for sale or that are privately kept.

Addressing the risks posed by invasive non-native species is underpinned by the Great Britain Non-Native Species Strategy. This Strategy outlines key actions related to monitoring of these species in the wild to ensure that appropriate action can be taken to address any threats they pose.
