Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 17 of his department's Strategic Defence Review, published 2 June 2025, what proportion of rapid commercial exploitation are contracting within 3 months.

A substantial programme of work is underway across Defence to improve procurement performance and efficiency. This includes implementing acquisition reform to speed up routes to contract, strengthen contractual levers, improve delivery discipline, and implementing the vision set out in the Strategic Defence Review and Defence Industrial Strategy.
