The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has recommended a national meningococcal B (MenB) immunisation programme for infants, subject to the vaccine, Bexsero® being obtained at a cost-effective price.

We have accepted the JCVI’s recommendation and the Department is continuing negotiations for the supply of Bexsero® with the manufacturer, which will be completed as quickly as practicable.
