Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, since the publication of the Strategic Defence Review what progress has been made on real time collaboration with other departments in response to national security challenges.

The Strategic Defence Review set a clear ambition to strengthen integration across government in response to national security challenges. Since its publication, Defence has continued to enhance mechanisms for real-time collaboration with other government departments through existing national security structures. These arrangements enable Defence to work more effectively with partners across government in responding to evolving security threats and operational requirements.
