Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions he has had with (a) port operators and (b) relevant trade unions since the meeting of the Council of Ministers to discuss the proposed European Port Services Regulations on 8 October 2014.

I have had several discussions on this subject with port operators and trade union representatives, both before and since the Council of Ministers on 8 October.
