Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether risk-assessed staffing levels have changed at any maritime rescue co-ordination centre in the last 12 months.

The historic risk-assessed staffing levels have not changed at any Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre within the last 12 months. Levels are set separately for winter and summer months and therefore do vary during the year. Summer watch levels are in line with British Summer Time and winter in line with Greenwich Mean Time.
