Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what progress his Department has made on finding a private sector partner for the Vehicle Certification Agency.

The negotiation phase of the project to find a partner for the Vehicle Certification Agency is drawing to a close. I will make a statement on the outcome in due course.
