The Department does not hold information on the number of patients whose treatment for bladder cancer will be affected or whether patients currently receiving Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) treatment for bladder cancer have had their treatment suspended because of BCG bladder instillations supplies.

We are monitoring the situation closely to help ensure that everything possible is being done to make supplies available for United Kingdom patients. We are also in close contact with the British Association of Urological Surgeons who have issued advice for clinicians and patients.
